New recipes for the dinner table!

Hey there!

How is everyone holding up during this quarantine? If you are like us over here at Graized, we are using this time to try out new recipes! For those of you who haven't heard of us we are a local cattle farm in Moweaqua, IL. We pride ourselves on raising quality, grass fed beef from start to finish. Why grass fed? While it is growing in popularity for several reasons, we like to point out the many health benefits it offers our customers. Not only is it a leaner meat, it also contains more vitamins and nutrients than your traditional beef.

So what kind of dishes are we making during this time? Well, here are some of our favorites.

During this time of uncertainty we like to throw together a delicious comfort food staple, Beef Stew! The best part? It's super simple! Here’s what you need:

5 Hour Graized Beef Stew Ingredients: 1-1 lb package Graized Stew meat 1- large can V-8 juice Sliced potatoes 1 bag of carrots 2 tablespoons tapioca Celery

Instructions: Pre-heat oven to 275 degrees. Put all the ingredients in the roaster with the lid on and let cook for 5 hours. Serve over a bed of rice. That’s it!

Who else is loving that the weather is starting to warm up? Another new favorite we have been enjoying is Graized Steak Fajitas! They are light, refreshing and better yet satisfy that mexican craving we’ve all been missing! Here’s what you need:

Graized Steak Fajitas Serves ~4 Ingredients: 2 lbs of Graized round steak 1 packet fajita seasoning 2 tbsp olive oil 1 green bell pepper 1 yellow bell pepper 1 red bell pepper 1 sweet yellow oni;on 3 cloves garlic 1⁄2 lime juiced

Instructions: 1. Cut the steak into strips, and thinly slice the vegetables. 2. Over medium to high heat cook the veggies in olive oil and garlic. Once soft, remove the veggies and add the meat. Juice the lime and let cook for 3-5 minutes. 3. Add the veggies back in with the meat and add the fajita seasoning with 1⁄4 cup of water, let boil for 2-3 minutes. 4. Serve with tortillas and desired toppings 5. Bonus: chips, salsa and guacamole go great with this meal!
