Spotlighting Real GHG Women: The Heart of Our Shop
One of the most rewarding things about running Grey House Goods is the incredible women I get to connect with every day. These aren’t just customers—they’re friends, family, and truly the heartbeat of our shop. That’s why I decided to start the GHG Model Spotlight series, featuring real women who shop here, love the community, and aren’t afraid to show off their authentic selves.
So far, we’ve had the pleasure of highlighting Laura, Haley, and Robin. Each woman brought her own unique style, personality, and story to the shop floor, and it’s been such a joy to watch them shine.
Laura was the first to say “yes” when I nervously pitched the idea. Her playful spirit and classic style brought out the very best of what GHG offers, and she made it clear that being a GHG woman isn’t about fitting a certain mold—it’s about finding pieces that make you feel you.
Haley, our second spotlight, showed up with such an effortless energy and willingness to try new things. Her mom even joined in on the fun, proving that shopping can be a family affair. Haley’s excitement about each piece she tried on was contagious, and I loved seeing her light up with every new outfit.
Robin was our most recent Model Spotlight, and she reminded me that style is truly ageless. Pushing into her 7th decade and standing at a petite 4'10", Robin owned every look with confidence and joy. She’s also an art student of mine, and her creative spirit really shone through in her favorite pieces, from cozy blazers to vibrant dresses.
What I love most about these spotlights is how they celebrate the real women who make up the GHG community. It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking fashion is only for a certain age, size, or shape—but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Laura, Haley, and Robin have shown that style is personal, evolving, and always about feeling good in your own skin.
These spotlights aren’t about “perfect” photos or “perfect” looks—they’re about real women showing up, having fun, and feeling great. I’m so grateful for everyone who’s been willing to step in front of the camera (even if it took a little bit of coaxing at first!) to help share this message with the world.
Here’s to more GHG Spotlights ahead—and to the amazing women who make them possible.
